Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Local CDL-A Truck Driver to haul frozen grocery freight within a 250-mile radius. This is a home-daily position offering consistent routes, competitive pay, and strong benefits.

Drivers will deliver to supermarkets and distribution centers with a mix of curbside and dock deliveries. This role requires hands-on work and strong customer service skills.

Freight: Frozen groceries
Trailers: 46’, 48’, 51’, and 53’ reefers
Stops: ~31 stops per week
Loads: One long load per day; second load if hours allow
Backhauls: Occasional return product pickups
Handling: Driver unload using liftgate and pallet jack (manual or electric)
NYC / NJ / Long Island Deliveries: Yes
Slip Seat: Yes (shared equipment)
Transmission: Automatic and manual day cabs
Uniforms: Provided
Personal Transportation: Required

Pay & Compensation
CPM: $0.50 – $0.54
Daily Rate: $50/day (must work all scheduled days to qualify)
Stop Pay:

NYC Borough Stops: $30 – $31.50
Boston Stops: $30 – $31.50
Non-liftgate Dock Stops: $19 – $20.50
Non-NYC Stops (LI/NJ): $23 – $24.50
Layover Pay: $100 per layover
Detention Pay: Paid in 15-minute increments after first hour
Safety Bonus: Available
New Hire Training Pay: $200/day
Holiday Pay: $160/day

Schedule & Shifts
Start Time: Between 12:01 AM – 3:00 AM
Shift Length: 12–14 hours
Layovers: Occasional (hotel provided)

Work Environment
Deliveries to supermarkets and distribution centers
1–3 pallets per stop
Possible piece-by-piece hand unload
Mix of curbside (NYC) and dock (NJ/LI) deliveries
Strong emphasis on customer service

Preferred Experience
Prior delivery experience in NYC boroughs (minimum 3 months preferred)
Frozen freight handling experience
Comfortable operating liftgates and pallet jacks
