Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Local CDL-A Truck Driver for a dedicated account offering daily home time, consistent freight, and strong weekly earnings. This position runs a multi-stop delivery operation with pre-loaded, palletized freight and steady year-round volume. Drivers will operate automatic day cabs and work a predictable schedule with competitive pay, benefits, and paid training.

Pay & Earnings
Weekly pay average: $1,857
Base CPM: $0.76–$0.78
Estimated yearly earnings: $96,600 (based on recent averages)
Stop pay: $40 per stop
Drop & hook pay: $25 per drop
Daily pay: $94/day (must work all 5 scheduled days)
New hire training: $240/day
Safety training: $20/hour
Holiday pay: $200/day
Off-account work: $225–$400/day (based on assignment)

Schedule & Home Time
Home time: Daily
Schedule: Thursday–Monday
Start time: Approximately 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM (varies by workload)
Work week: 5 days
6th day: Voluntary (mandatory during peak seasons such as Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s)
Drivers may be required to work holidays if scheduled

Freight & Route Details
Local routes within a regional operating area
Operating radius up to 250 miles
No NYC deliveries
Palletized, multi-stop freight
Pre-loaded trailers
Average of approximately 15 stops per load
Dedicated, steady freight

Equipment
Automatic day cabs
Slip seat (assigned by seniority)
48’ and 53’ dry vans and refrigerated trailers
Uniforms provided
Trucks remain at the account location (cannot be taken home)

Driver Responsibilities
Unload palletized freight using a pallet jack
Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
Safely operate equipment while meeting delivery schedules

Requirements
Valid CDL A license
Minimum of 3 months CDL-A driving experience
Ability to assist with unloading freight
Strong customer service skills
Reliable personal transportation to and from work daily
