We’re hiring Class A CDL Semi-Local Drivers for a Central States account based in Tooele, UT. This position offers strong weekly pay, steady miles, and consistent freight hauling metal roofing and siding on curtainside flatbeds.

Weekly Average: $1,673
Annual Pay: $87,000+
Pay Rate: $0.59 – $0.63 CPM
CPM Increases: $0.01 annually until max of $0.63
Miles per Week: ~2,350
Stops per Week: ~4
Paid Holidays: 6

Schedule & Home Time
Position Type: Semi-Local, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Saturday
Start Times: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Layovers: Average 2–3 per week
Peak Season: Summer months

Automatic sleeper trucks
Newer Peterbilt, Freightliner, and International models
Assigned equipment
Trucks remain at the account during home time

Position Duties
Deliver metal roofing and siding on curtainside flatbeds
Trailers live-loaded by shipper
Receivers unload freight live
Driver straps all loads and operates curtainside system
Driver unstraps at receiver
Occasional unloading with customer-provided Moffett forklift
Pick up and deliver backhauls as needed

Driver Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3+ months tractor-trailer experience
Must meet DOT hiring standards
Comfortable running mountain routes
Willing and able to chain as weather dictates
Curtainside experience required
Flatbed experience preferred

Special Requirements
Must assist other dedicated accounts as needed
May assist accounts outside the UT region
No riders
No pets

Orientation Requirements:

Submit CDL (front/back) and DOT medical card within 24 hours
Complete electronic background authorization

Maintain contact with onboarding coordinators every two days
