Position Details

  • Freight Type: Dry Van
  • Route: Primarily running the I-5 corridor north and south
  • Operating Area: Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho
  • Equipment: Modern fleet with dry van trailers
  • Freight Handling:
    • Preloaded trailers
    • Drop-and-hook freight
    • Some load assist and unload assist
  • Shifts Available:
    • Day Shift
    • Night Shift
  • Weekend work required
  • Holiday work may be required based on customer needs

Home Time

Drivers can choose from flexible home time options:

  • Weekly home time opportunities
  • Every two weeks home time available
  • 34-hour restart at home when applicable

This position is designed to provide a balance between maximizing miles and allowing drivers quality time at home.

Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $0.50 CPM
  • Average Weekly Earnings: $1,200 – $1,500
  • Weekly Miles: Approximately 2,000 – 2,300 miles
  • Stop Pay: $15 per stop
  • Performance bonus opportunities available
  • Consistent freight and mileage opportunities throughout the year

Driver Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A License
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience
  • Must be an experienced solo driver
  • Safe driving history and strong work ethic
  • Ability to operate safely in varying weather and road conditions
  • Commitment to on-time deliveries and professional customer service

Hiring Area

Drivers must live within approximately 300 miles of the Troutdale, Oregon area. Hiring is focused on:

  • Oregon
  • Washington

Additional nearby cities within the recruiting area may also qualify.
