Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Local Driver to deliver fresh and frozen grocery freight to supermarkets and distribution centers within a dedicated local operating area. This full-time position offers daily home time, consistent schedules, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. Pay Details
Weekly Pay Average: $1,634 – $1,923
Average Yearly Pay: $85,000 – $100,000
Pay Rate: $0.68 – $0.74 per mile
Additional Pay
$28.50 – $30.00 stop pay (non-NYC)
$62.50 per load into NYC boroughs
$15 per hour detention pay after 1 hour at store and 2 hours at backhaul
$50 truck move pay
$200 per day new hire training
$20 per hour safety training
$280 per day holiday pay
Home Time & Schedule
Home Daily
Friday through Tuesday work schedule
Off Tuesday and Wednesday
Start times between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM
5-day work week with voluntary 6th day
6th day mandatory around major holidays, including Christmas and New Year
Work scheduled holidays unless the account is not running

Operating Area: Within a 250-mile radius including NY, NJ, CT, and PA
Miles Per Week: Approximately 1,409
Average Stops Per Week: Approximately 16
Freight Type: Fresh and frozen grocery
Trailer Type: 48-foot box reefer
Job Duties
Deliver groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers
Run multi-stop routes with approximately 15 or more stops per week
Complete two loads per day or one long load
Pick up return product or backhauls to the distribution center
Operate within an assigned local operating area
Freight is mostly no-touch with driver assist on some unloads
Occasional driver unload required
Support other local accounts as needed

Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license
Minimum of 3 months recent tractor-trailer experience
Must meet DOT and company safety requirements
Must have reliable personal transportation to and from work
Completion of approval process and orientation required prior to dispatch
