Drivers are not required to work Holidays. Days surrounding holidays are first come first serve
PTO – Accrual starts on the first day of employmentNew/rehire – 1.5 hours accrued/week = 7 PTO days/year
1+ years – 1.54 hours accrued/week = 10 PTO days/year
6+ years – 2.31 hours accrued/week = 15 PTO days/year
19+ years – 3.08 hours accrued/week = 20 PTO days/year

Truck:
Will operate mid roof conventional tractors. Avg age of fleet is 2.5 years
Mostly Automatic Freightliners
Drivers living within 30 miles of a JBH terminal will be required to park there for time off
Operating Area:

IA (60%), MN/WI/IL (35%), surrounding states (5%)
95% of loads will start/end in Chicago, IL
Rails: Mainly Chicago area rails (95%), Occasionally St. Paul (4%), and St. Louis Rails (1%)
Drivers in the Chicago hiring radius: Cannot make ANY radius exception due to the nature of the routes.
Additional pay:
– CPM makes up approx 75% of pay (Paid on Rand McNally miles)
– Starting pay: 0.63 CPM, yearly 0.01 increase up to 0.68 CPM – Full years of JBH tenure honored
– Stop/exception makes up approx 25% of pay
– $35 drop/hook (75% of loads)
– $65 live load/unload (detention still applies) (25% of loads)
– New drivers typically avg $1,600 for first 1-3 months
Shift details:
– Schedule Open: Tuesday – Saturday (OFF Sun/Mon)
– Will I get home during the week?
— Not guaranteed – but if you are low on hours near your home, you are welcome to stop there for your 10 hour break
– Drivers can select their start time as long as it remains consistent from week to week
– Freight volume and flexibility allows for drivers interested to work additional days
