CDL A Local Flatbed Driver Gentry, AR $68k yearly

Position Details:

$1,000 minimum weekly pay guarantee for the first eight weeks!

Drivers will transport live chickens from farms within 150-mile radius of Gentry AR, and deliver to the poultry processing plants in Decatur, AR and Southwest City, MO.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring chicken cages are loaded correctly and make sure the cages are secure.
Securing the cages involves placing a hook on the top cage and then securing it to the trailer with a strap/winch the same as a flatbed driver.
Special Requirements:

Drivers will need to follow animal welfare guidelines.
Being able to work/drive during inclement weather is a requirement.

Additional pay:
Pay increase after first 6 months.
o Tiered pay based on tenure. Top tiered driver earns $.44/mile after 2 years.
• 41.50 load pay (Avg. 18 per week)
• 20 mile per load guarantee
• $125 attendance bonus per week
Shift details:
Schedule: Monday – Friday. Drivers will work an occasional 6th day when required by customer.
• Shift Time: 0000 – 1100 – Early morning start times!
• Shift: 10-12-hour days on average – May be required to work up to 14 hours when traffic delays, breakdowns, detention, etc. are encountered.
• Home daily!
