As a CDL-A Team Driver, you and your co-driver will work together to keep freight moving while maintaining compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in a team driving environment
  • Transport freight across regional and long-haul routes while meeting delivery schedules
  • Work closely with your co-driver to coordinate driving shifts and trip planning
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations
  • Conduct detailed pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip reports, and required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
  • Monitor equipment performance and promptly report maintenance issues
  • Ensure cargo is transported safely and securely
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at customer locations
  • Manage time efficiently to maximize productivity and on-time performance
  • Utilize route planning and navigation tools to improve trip efficiency
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized truck environment

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A License
  • Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
  • Previous over-the-road (OTR) or team driving experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a co-driver during extended trips
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to complete detailed vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records
  • Dependable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and operational needs
  • Experience with trip planning and route management is a plus
