Hiring Drivers – Greensboro, NC

Home Daily | 2nd Shift | Dedicated Shuttle Freight

We are seeking professional drivers to support an account based out of Greensboro, NC. Drivers will shuttle freight between distribution centers on a dedicated lane with drop-and-hook, no-touch freight and enjoy daily home time.

Schedule

  • Shift: 2nd Shift
  • Start Times: Vary between 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    (Operations will work to establish a consistent start time once fully staffed)
  • Work Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule
    • Work 2 days / Off 2 days
    • Work 3 days / Off 2 days
    • Work 2 days / Off 3 days
    • Repeat

Equipment

  • Tractors: Day cabs and sleepers
  • Seating: Slip seat

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay Type: Hourly
  • Pay Rate: $25/hour
  • Quarterly Safety Bonus: $200
  • Holiday Pay: Average of prior 52 weeks
  • Vacation Pay: Per EPES vacation policy
  • Guarantee Pay: None

Job Duties

  • Shuttle freight from Greensboro, NC to Leland, NC and return
  • Occasional trips to Garner, NC
  • Drop & hook at all locations (no driver unloading required)
  • Maintain on-time pickups and deliveries
  • Communicate proactively with on-shift supervisors

Driver Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Punctual and customer-service focused
  • Strong time management and route planning skills
