Role Description

This full-time CDL-A Team Driver role is based on-site in Akron, OH. Team Drivers will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating commercial vehicles to transport goods, complying with all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate logbooks, ensuring timely deliveries, and conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Drivers will often collaborate with their team members to plan routes, communicate effectively, and resolve challenges on the road. Successful candidates will prioritize safety, timeliness, and exceptional service in all aspects of their work.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
Experience in long-haul or team driving and familiarity with DOT regulations
Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with co-driverS
Ability to conduct thorough vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records
Commitment to safety and adherence to driving laws and compliance requirements
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and extended periods on the road
High level of professionalism, responsibility, and reliability
Previous on-road experience and a strong understanding of route planning are a plus
