Job Details
Home Time: Home daily
Operating Area: Within a 350-mile radius of North Hatfield, MA
Schedule:

Main start times around 2:30 AM
Split days off (Sunday and Tuesday)
12–14 hour shifts
6 days required during holiday peak times
Freight: Fresh and frozen grocery deliveries

Delivery Areas:

NYC Boroughs & Long Island (80–90% of deliveries)
NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, and Upstate NY
Loads: Multi-stop routes, averaging 15–20 stops per week
Equipment: Assigned automatic day cabs (trucks cannot be taken home)
Trailer Type: Reefer (53’, 51’, 48’, or 46’)
Occasional layovers (hotel provided)

Pay & Compensation
Average Annual Earnings: $95,000–$110,000
CPM: $0.52–$0.56
Average Miles: ~1,500 per week
Additional Pay

$50 per day daily rate (must work all 5 scheduled days)
$42 per NYC borough stop (Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Brooklyn)
$45 per liftgate stop
$21 per drop and hook
Detention pay in 15-minute increments (must arrive within delivery window)
New hire training pay: $200 per day
Safety training pay: $20 per hour
Holiday pay: $160 per day

Job Responsibilities
Deliver fresh and frozen grocery products
Driver unload using electric pallet jack and liftgate
Occasional return product pickups and backhauls
Support other local accounts as needed
Provide excellent customer service

Driver Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer experience
Must be at least 21 years old
Good MVR and safety record
Must be comfortable delivering in all NYC boroughs (daily deliveries expected)
Ability to perform physical unloading
Must have personal transportation to and from work
